Minty's Tyres & Mag Wheels respects your privacy and processes personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
What we collect
- When you request a quote: your name, cellphone number, email address, chosen branch, vehicle details, preferred fitment date, the products in your quote and any message you add.
- When you send a message: your name, contact details and message.
- When you sign up for specials: your email address.
- Your quote list is kept in your own browser until you send it. If you use "Nearest to me", your location is used in your browser to sort branches and is not sent to us.
- Basic technical information (such as your IP address) to protect our forms against abuse.
How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote, and for the branch you chose to contact you about it and book your fitment.
- To answer your messages.
- To send you specials, only if you signed up. Every email lets you unsubscribe.
We do not sell your personal information. It is shared only with the Minty's branch handling your request and with service providers who host our website and email, under appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Quote and enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to serve you and to meet legal and accounting requirements, then deleted.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, and object to its processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator (South Africa).
Cookies
The site uses your browser's storage to remember your quote list and vehicle. If analytics are enabled, they use cookies to measure visits in aggregate.
